Service Fees
The Victorian Psychology Clinic currently see individuals under the following:
- Mental Health Treatment Plans
- Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plans
- Chronic Disease Management Plans
- Private Health Insurance
- TAC
- Work Cover
- Private Fee
- DVA Health Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as payment upon a GP referral.
Fees for Individual Therapy
Psychologists at the Victorian Psychology Clinic charge well under the recommended Australian Psychological Society rate of $300 per 50 minute session.
Fees at VPC vary depending on the practitioner you see, as such it is recommended that you visit the psychologists page to learn more about practitioners specific fees.
As of 1st January 2024, fees at VPC range from:
- $220 - $260 for a 50-minute consultation and
- $310 - $360 for a 90-minute consultation
* Clients with a Mental Health Treatment Plan or Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan are eligible for a rebate on these fees.
The current rebate is $141.85 for a Clinical Psychologist and $96.65 for a Registered Psychologist.
** Please note that if you are referred under a third-party funder (e.g., Workcover), your rebate may differ from a Mental Health Treatment Plan.
*** DVA Health Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as payment upon a GP referral.
Fees for Couples Therapy
Couples Therapy is divided up into two phases; the Assessment Phase and the Treatment Phase.
In the Assessment Phase there are four 50-minute sessions, which are charged at $220-$240 per session.
- An initial joint session
- An individual session with each member of the couple
- A feedback session
Following the assessment phase, the couple enter into the Treatment Phase. Sessions in the treatment phase can be 90-minutes or 120-minutes long.
The fees for a 90-minute session are $310 and $400 for a 120-minute session.
Please note that Medicare rebates are not available for couples therapy.
Clinical Supervision
Clinical Supervision for:
- Psychologists undertaking their Clinical Psychology Registrar Program
- Registered Mental Health Professionals
- Secondary Supervisor for other Registrar Programs
- Students undertaking higher degree placements
- 5+1 Program
- $230+GST for 50min sessions
Fees for Assessments
As of 1st January 2025:
- Fees for ADHD Assessment - $1720
- Fees for Cognitive Assessment - $1380
- Fees for Autism Assessment $1790
- Fees for Combined ADHD/Autism Assessment $2340
Please note that from time to time additional assessments may be required that attract an additional fee. Your psychologist will always discuss this with you prior to proceeding.
