The Victorian Psychology Clinic (VPC) emerged from the shared dedication of Clinical Psychologists, Melanie McInneny and Dr Shara Granger. Bonded by their profound appreciation for the field of psychology and a history of collaborative work, Melanie and Shara recognised the value in uniting their knowledge, resources, and aspirations to establish a private psychology practice.
Our Clinic
The establishment of VPC was not a hasty decision but the product of extensive planning and consideration. Melanie and Shara understood the significant step clients take when seeking psychological support, and their objective was to create a welcoming, comfortable environment marked by ease of accessibility. This deliberate approach led to the selection of the clinic’s location at 168 Buckley Street, Essendon, in addition to the provision of telehealth services.
VPC officially opened on 3rd July 2023. Since this time, Melanie and Shara have welcomed the commencement of independent psychologists at the clinic, who share their commitment to offering the utmost in quality, evidence-based psychological therapy.
Following significant demand and the addition of experienced psychologists, Melanie and Shara opened a second clinic in nearby Moonee Ponds. The Moonee Ponds Clinic, located at 50 Maribyrnong Road, Moonee Ponds, opened in February 2025.
