Complaints Policy
At The Victorian Psychology Clinic (VPC), we are committed to providing the high-quality psychological services. We value your feedback and take all concerns and complaints seriously. We have established a clear complaints policy to ensure that any issues you may have, are addressed promptly.
Step 1: Informal Resolution
We encourage clients to first discuss any concerns or complaints informally with your treating psychologist. They will make every effort to resolve the issue promptly and to your satisfaction. Open communication is essential, and our psychologists are here to listen and address your concerns.
Step 2: Formal Complaint
If you feel your concern has not been adequately addressed or if you are uncomfortable discussing it with your psychologist, please contact our clinic co-directors, Melanie McInneny and Dr. Shara Granger. You can contact Melanie and Shara via email at support@vicpsychclinic.com.au or on 03 7018 1716. They will promptly acknowledge your complaint and initiate a formal investigation into the matter.
Step 3: External Resolution
If, after taking the above steps, you remain dissatisfied with the resolution or handling of your complaint, you may choose to contact The Health Complaints Commissioner’s Make a Complaint page, or the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency’s Concerned about a Health Practitioner page.
