THE VICTORIAN PSYCHOLOGY CLINIC
What is Clinical Supervision?
Clinical Supervision offers a safe space for clinicians to explore cases they are currently working with and can be helpful in further developing skills in:
- Case conceptualisation
- Ethical considerations
- The implementation of specific therapies and strategies
- Reflective practice
Supervision allows clinicians to evaluate their cases and receive feedback in an environment that is supportive and collaborative. As part of upholding the requirements of our registration, it is important to seek regular supervision to ensure you are on the right track with your clients. Furthermore, the nature of clinical work can be emotionally challenging, and having a supportive supervisor can contribute to a healthier and more resilient practitioner.
