Anna’s journey into Psychology commenced in the Netherlands where she completed her Bachelors’ degree at Utrecht University. Anna subsequently went on to complete her first Masters’ degree in Sweden at Lund University. Following her first Masters’ degree, Anna developed a love for Clinical Psychology, prompting her relocation to Australia, where she completed a combined Master/PhD at the University of Melbourne. Anna’s PhD thesis investigated psychological models of wrongdoings in a sample of university students and domestic violence perpetrators.
During her career, Anna has had experience working across a variety of settings including secure environments, community clinics and public hospital settings. She is currently working towards gaining clinical endorsement and shares her private practice work with working as a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne.

Anna’s approach to therapy focuses on building a trusting and respectful relationship with her clients and choosing evidence-based strategies that can be tailored to individuals’ needs. She strives to help her clients gain an understanding of what has bought them to therapy and more importantly what may be keepingtheir difficulties going. Anna’s treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness strategies and Schema-based work.

In addition to English, Anna is able to offer therapy in Hungarian.
