Daniel is a registered psychologist currently completing his clinical registrar program, with experience spanning several sectors, including acute community intervention, hospital and oncology care, tertiary counselling, and adolescent and young adult services.
As an integrative clinician, Daniel draws on various therapeutic models, including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and existential therapy. This approach allows him to tailor treatments to each person’s unique needs.
Daniel believes the therapeutic relationship—the connection between the client and therapist—is a key driver of effective therapy. He focuses on creating a curious, empathetic, warm, and collaborative space where all thoughts and feelings are welcome. He strives to create a relaxed, open environment where humour and compassion help explore the human experience.
Therapeutically, Daniel is passionate about equipping people with tools to handle difficult experiences in the present, while also helping individuals see mental health as part of a broader personal history—one that can be understood and emotionally processed to encourage growth. Daniel also looks beyond ‘presenting issues’ to focus on personality development and fulfillment, helping clients live meaningfully alongside life’s challenges.
